Outpatient Mental Health Clinic/Contract Work
About the Role:
We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or PA-C to provide high-quality psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management services to adults age 65 and older in an outpatient setting. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, team-based environment alongside licensed therapists, registered nurses, and administrative professionals dedicated to improving access to mental health care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment response
- Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment options
Qualifications
- Passage of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination
or
- Current, unrestricted RN and APRN license, certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- DEA registration
- Strong clinical assessment and collaborative abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered, culturally responsive care
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
