Pack Leader at Dog DayCare & Boarding Playhouse

Position: Pack Leader
Shift #1: Sunday & Monday (6 AM to 6 PM) - PART TIME

Shift #2: Tuesday-Saturday (6 AM to 2:30 PM) - FULL TIME

Pay: $16.30/hour, entry-level

At Woof-Tastic Playhouse, we’re more than just a dog daycare — we’re a second home for dogs and a close-knit team of people who genuinely love what we do. Owned and operated by Sid & Lily Roa for over 15 years, our goal has always been to create a safe, fun, enriching environment where dogs can play hard, rest comfortably, and be loved like family.

We’re currently looking for a Pack Leader to join our team! This is a hands-on, fast-paced position for someone who thrives in energetic environments and truly enjoys being around dogs all day long.

Let’s be real — this job is not sitting behind a desk cuddling puppies all day. Our playgroups are active, loud, messy, exciting, and constantly moving. There will be barking, cleaning, multitasking, wet floors, muddy paws, excited dogs, and busy shifts. You’ll get dirty, you’ll stay moving, and no two days are ever the same. But if you’re the kind of person who lights up around dogs and enjoys staying busy, this can be one of the most rewarding jobs out there.

As a Pack Leader, you’ll help supervise dog playgroups, maintain a clean and safe environment, provide excellent customer service to clients, and make sure every dog in our care feels safe, comfortable, and loved.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Weekend and holiday availability required (these are our busiest days)

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for dogs and patience for all personalities, behaviors, and energy levels
• Someone reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a loud, fast-moving environment
• Comfortable standing/walking for 5+ hour shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to use cleaning equipment, technology, booking software, and digital tools
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and providing an amazing experience for both dogs and their humans
• Ability to pass a background check
