Homestead Meats & Processing is a growing small business looking for new packaging team members with an interest in butchery and/or local foods.

Responsibilities:
- Package meat products according to customer's instructions, company standards and procedures.

- Perform quality control checks to ensure product integrity and accuracy.

-Be a team player, communicate, and help as needed on various tasks performed.

- Operate packaging machinery and equipment.

- Load and unload materials and products for packaging.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a packaging or warehouse environment preferred but not necessary, will train.

-Multitasking.

- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as required.

- Mechanical knowledge to operate packaging machinery is a plus.

- Familiarity with food safety and quality control procedures is beneficial.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
