Packaging Designer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our dynamic design team, specializing in licensed childrenswear. This full-time role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working across multiple departments to create engaging, on-brand packaging solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in packaging design and a solid understanding of design principles, materials, and production processes. A familiarity with licensing requirements is a huge plus, as you’ll work closely with our design, production, and licensing teams to create packaging that meets brand, retailer, and licensor standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and execute packaging for licensed childrenswear lines in alignment with brand and licensor guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including design, production, and licensing—to ensure consistency and compliance across packaging assets.
  • Develop AI-assisted garment renderings and packaging mockups using Adobe Creative Suite, Fermat, and related tools.
  • Create dielines, trims, labels, hangtags, and packaging artwork for both retail and e-commerce needs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and on-time delivery.
  • Maintain organized files and assets according to internal systems and licensing requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners and external vendors to ensure smooth production handoffs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in packaging design; fashion or apparel industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating AI-based renderings and mockups.
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, color management, and dieline creation.
  • Basic familiarity with fabrics and garment construction helpful for design visualization and rendering.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and pivot between projects efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in both creative execution and project management.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
