About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Packaging & Dispatch Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure smooth, timely, and accurate order fulfilment. The ideal candidate will manage packaging teams, streamline dispatch processes, and maintain high-quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging Management
- Supervise daily packaging tasks to ensure all orders are packed securely and correctly.
- Maintain quality standards to minimise damage and returns.
- Manage and train packaging staff.
- Track and maintain inventory of packaging materials.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Ensure timely dispatch of all orders according to daily targets.
- Coordinate with courier partners for pickups and deliveries.
- Generate and verify shipping labels, invoices, and dispatch documentation.
- Track shipments and resolve delays or delivery issues.
Inventory & Order Accuracy
- Cross-check packed orders with invoices to avoid dispatch errors.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders and daily reports.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies.
Team & Process Management
- Manage warehouse and dispatch staff.
- Implement and improve SOPs for packaging and dispatch processes.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards in the dispatch area.
Coordination
- Coordinate with customer support for order or shipping issues.
- Work with management to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch, or logistics operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce shipping platforms (Shiprocket, Delhivery, etc.) is preferred.
- Good organisational and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
