Position Overview:

We are looking for Packaging Expert with strong knowledge of packaging materials, cost optimization, and supplier management. The role focuses on reducing packaging costs by up to 50% through material innovation, process improvement, and efficient sourcing—while maintaining durability, functionality, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing packaging designs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Redesign or re-engineer packaging for better material efficiency and reduced waste.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate lower costs and identify alternative materials.
• Conduct packaging tests to ensure that cost savings do not compromise quality or product safety.
• Develop cost-saving strategies and present improvement reports to management.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in sustainable and economical packaging.
• Work closely with production and design teams to ensure feasible and cost-effective implementation.
• Support both part-time and full-time packaging projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in packaging development, sourcing, or cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of materials (corrugated, paperboard, flexible, and sustainable options).
• Proven ability to achieve measurable cost reductions without sacrificing quality.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in packaging design and costing tools (e.g., ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, MS Excel).
• Results-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
