Position Summary
North American Textile Company LLC (NATco) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Packaging Production Designer to support the creation, adaptation, and production of packaging artwork across a variety of consumer product categories. This mid-level role is responsible for preparing production-ready packaging artwork, supporting design revisions and versioning projects, and ensuring all files meet established brand standards, print specifications, and quality requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the creation, adaptation, and production of packaging artwork across a variety of product categories.
- Assist with updating existing packaging designs, layout revisions, and versioning projects.
- Prepare production-ready artwork files following established brand standards and packaging specifications.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to support packaging initiatives.
- Ensure artwork files meet project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Assist with quality control reviews, proofing, and artwork checks for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Apply packaging production best practices, including die lines, print specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Create mockups, presentation materials, and production assets as needed.
- Maintain organized file structures and documentation throughout project lifecycles.
- Stay current on packaging trends, design techniques, and industry best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree, certificate, coursework, or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Packaging Production Designer, Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or similar role within consumer products, packaging, retail, manufacturing, or agency environments.
- Working knowledge of packaging design, print production, and production file preparation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Familiarity with die lines, print specifications, packaging production workflows, and manufacturing requirements.
- Portfolio showcasing packaging, production, or consumer product design work required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary work requiring prolonged periods at a computer workstation.
- Frequent use of computers and design software applications.
- Occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, and telecommunication devices.
