"Packing & Dispatch Supervisor"

Key Responsibilities

• Packing Operations
• Supervise packing of Cylinder Liners, Air-cooled Blocks & Sleeves as per customer-approved packing standards.
• Ensure use of correct packing materials (wooden boxes, pallets, VCI paper, plastic wrapping, foam, separators, rust preventive oil).
• Ensure corrosion protection for export shipments (anti-rust treatment).
• Verify packing labels, part numbers, heat numbers, quantity, gross/net weight.
• Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
• Plan daily dispatch as per dispatch plan, customer schedule & export timelines.
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agent) for export shipments.
• Ensure on-time loading and proper stacking to avoid transit damage.
• Monitor vehicle availability and loading sequence.
• Export Documentation Support
• Ensure availability and correctness of documents:
• Packing List
• Commercial Invoice
• Delivery Challan
• E-Way Bill
• Shipping Instructions
• Support export documentation like COO, fumigation certificate, pallet treatment details.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure packing complies with customer specifications, ISO/TS/IATF & export norms.
• Coordinate with Quality team for final inspection clearance before dispatch.
• Prevent mix-ups, wrong part dispatch, or incorrect quantities.
• Inventory & Records
• Maintain dispatch registers, packing checklists, and export shipment records.
• Update ERP / Excel for dispatch and stock movement.
• Reconcile physical dispatch with system data.
• Manpower & Safety
• Supervise packing helpers and loaders.
• Ensure safe material handling practices.
• Enforce PPE usage and safe lifting methods.
• Cost & Efficiency Control
• Reduce packing material wastage and transportation damage.
• Suggest improvements in packing design for cost optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
