Job Title: Packing Operations Supervisor

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Distribution

Location: Ellabell, GA

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

About the Role:

The Packing Operations Supervisor leads all parcel and small-package packing functions within the elevated packing area. This role ensures accurate cartonization, quality control, labeling compliance, and seamless handoff to outbound shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee packing stations, quality checks, and carton sealing operations.
• Ensure proper carton selection and right-size packaging execution.
• Monitor scan compliance and shipping label accuracy.
• Drive productivity targets for cartons packed per hour.
• Maintain parcel carrier compliance (weight verification, labeling standards).
• Identify and reduce void fill waste and material overuse.
• Coordinate wave timing to ensure consistent workflow to the mezzanine.
• Manage damage prevention and final quality inspection protocols.
• Conduct performance coaching and cross-training within packing teams.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in warehouse packing or logistics operations
• Previous lead or supervisory experience leading teams of 20 or more hourly associates
• Strong safety mindset with proven experience enforcing safety protocols in receiving or warehouse operations.
• Tier One WMS experience required; Blue Yonder experience is a plus.
• Experience in automated, fast-paced facilities.

Skills:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies a plus
• Mathematical skills to perform basic functions and calculations
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong organization and accuracy capabilities
• Detail-oriented, and professional
