Danat Al Emarat is a world-class specialty women's and children's hospital in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It offers advanced medical services across specialties including Neonatology, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Women's Health. The hospital is one of the very few to encompass a dedicated Fetal Medicine Department along with a full-fledged Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the UAE. This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, competent, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring efficient chairside support throughout treatment.

• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory by sterilizing instruments, organizing equipment, and ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

• Help manage and comfort pediatric patients, creating a calm and child-friendly environment to reduce anxiety and promote a positive dental experience.

• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist, ensuring proper positioning and safety procedures.

• Educate parents and children on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive dental health.

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination, documentation, and administrative support as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Valid DOH License
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Dental Assistant.
