Paid Internship — Short-Form Video Editor (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)

SMB DigitalZone is offering a paid 3-month internship (30,000 PKR/month) with the opportunity to convert into a Junior Video Editor role based on performance.

About the Role

We are looking for a fast, creative, and innovative short-form video editor who can turn scripts and raw ideas into scroll-stopping content (max 60 seconds). You’ll be editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts — expect to produce 2 high-quality videos per day that deliver a “wow factor.”

Eligibility

• Only final-year Media/Design/Film students OR fresh graduates (≤1 year).
• Applicants outside this criteria = auto-reject.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form content (30–60 seconds) for TikTok/Reels/Shorts.
• Add captions, transitions, sound effects, trending music, and hooks.
• Adapt scripts/briefs into different creative styles (educational, entertaining, promotional).
• Keep up with platform trends and integrate them into edits.
• Deliver 2 polished videos daily, Monday to Friday.

Requirements

• Portfolio with short-form videos (must provide links).
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro / After Effects (DaVinci/CapCut Pro acceptable if results are pro-level).
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, and storytelling in <60s content.
• Must edit fast without sacrificing quality.
• Innovative mindset — originality over templates.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM.
• 1-hour lunch break (Friday: 1.5 hours).
