Paid Social Video Editor (Meta Ads) – Motion Graphics

Kinetic Arm | Remote | Contract (Contract-to-Retainer / Contract-to-Hire)

Kinetic Arm is a fast-growing sports technology company redefining how athletes protect, train, and perform.

We’re looking for a high-level paid social video editor + motion graphics creator who understands how to build ads that convert — specifically for Meta (TOF / MOF / BOF).

This is not a general editing role. This is performance creative for a DTC brand.

About the Role

You will take our existing footage (athletes, product, educational content) and elevate it into premium, high-performing ad creative.

We need someone who can create scroll-stopping edits, motion overlays, and educational visual effects that help explain how Kinetic Arm works — without over-designing or cluttering the creative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce paid video ads for Meta (TOF / MOF / BOF)
  • Build multiple ad variations quickly for creative testing
  • Create hook-first, high-retention edits and strong end frames
  • Add motion graphics, typography, overlays, and VFX where needed
  • Use educational overlays/illustrations to highlight pain points and explain how the product works
  • Create static ad assets (simple but premium) for Meta and website needs
  • Maintain consistent brand standards and compliance guidelines
  • Support occasional landing page graphics, marketing collateral, and info decks as needed
  • Deliver 5–10 finished assets per week (mix of video + static) without compromising quality

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing and paid social creative
  • Proven experience creating Meta ads (TOF / MOF / BOF)
  • Strong motion graphics ability (After Effects required)
  • Experience creating ad variations for testing
  • Strong pacing, storytelling, and hook development skills
  • Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality
  • Strong portfolio/reel showing paid ad work (required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with DTC performance brands (sports/fitness is a plus)
  • Experience using AI tools (Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, etc.)
  • Experience supporting landing pages, decks, or marketing collateral
  • Experience with YouTube/CTV edits is a plus

Tools & Skills (Preferred)

  • After Effects
  • Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Photoshop or Figma (basic static ad needs)
  • AI enhancement tools (Runway, Firefly, etc.)

Output Expectations

This role requires consistent weekly production.

You should be able to deliver:

  • 5–10 assets per week (video + static)
  • Multiple ad variations per concept for testing
  • Clean, premium execution that matches a performance brand

Contract Structure (Important)

This role begins as a contract-to-retainer pipeline.

We will start with:

  • 2–3 paid projects (working interview)
  • If it’s a strong fit → transition into a monthly retainer
  • Opportunity to expand into long-term or full-time work as the brand scales

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
