Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and protect surfaces from wear and environmental damage. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing damaged areas to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply primer, paint, stain, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint sprayers), and other hand or power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications.
• Use knowledge of color theory to select appropriate colors and finishes that meet client preferences and project requirements.
• Perform specialized painting tasks such as industrial painting, restoration work, stucco application, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry finishes, and concrete finishing.
• Install fixtures, moldings, trim carpentry elements, and perform renovation or remodeling tasks with precision.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling tools such as scaffolding, welding equipment (if qualified), power tools, hand tools, and scaffolding systems.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting as well as commercial or industrial painting projects.
• Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading detailed blueprints or schematics.
• Hands-on experience with construction site operations including framing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry (such as stucco), plastering, caulking, fixture installation, restoration work, and renovation projects.
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques combined with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently; experience with airless spray systems is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working on construction sites with exposure to building maintenance or handyman tasks is a plus.

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per day
