Painter

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter with 4–5 years of experience in residential and commercial maintenance works. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out painting, surface preparation, touch-up work, and related maintenance activities to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.

Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Perform interior and exterior painting works for residential, commercial, and retail properties.

Carry out touch-up and repainting works during property maintenance and unit handovers.

Identify and repair minor wall defects, cracks, and surface damages before painting.

Ensure proper color matching and finish quality according to company standards.

Protect furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before commencing work.

Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.

Follow safety procedures at all times.

Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Report material requirements and work progress to the supervisor.

Requirements

Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as a Painter in a maintenance company, construction company, or facilities management environment.

Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.

Ability to prepare surfaces and perform high-quality finishing works.

Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of painting equipment.

Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
