Painter

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter with 4–5 years of experience in residential and commercial maintenance works. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out painting, surface preparation, touch-up work, and related maintenance activities to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers.
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Perform interior and exterior painting works for residential, commercial, and retail properties.
• Carry out touch-up and repainting works during property maintenance and unit handovers.
• Identify and repair minor wall defects, cracks, and surface damages before painting.
• Ensure proper color matching and finish quality according to company standards.
• Protect furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas before commencing work.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Report material requirements and work progress to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–5 years of proven experience as a Painter in a maintenance company, construction company, or facilities management environment.
• Knowledge of different paint types, coatings, and application techniques.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and perform high-quality finishing works.
• Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of painting equipment.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
