Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Residential House Painter to join our team. The Residential House Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and delivering high-quality finishes for interior and exterior residential projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, maintains a professional attitude with homeowners, and works efficiently while following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
- Paint interior and exterior residential surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, siding, decks, and fences.
- Protect furniture, flooring, landscaping, and other property during painting projects.
- Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes according to project specifications.
- Operate brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
- Identify and report surface damage, repairs, or additional work requirements.
- Follow company quality standards and complete projects on schedule.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Previous residential painting experience preferred (1+ years preferred but not required).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Preferred
- Experience with airless paint sprayers.
- Has a pickup truck to transport materials (extra compensation)
- Knowledge of surface preparation and minor drywall repairs.
- Experience with staining, cabinet finishing, and deck coatings.
- OSHA or construction safety training.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
