Painter / Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter / Carpenter to join our team. This role involves a combination of painting and carpentry tasks, requiring a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, showcasing proficiency in various techniques and tools. A solid foundation in construction estimating, color theory, and blueprint reading will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Execute painting tasks for residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Perform carpentry work including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.
• Collaborate with team members to estimate project requirements and timelines accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, and construction painting.
• Familiarity with color theory and its application in painting projects.
• Strong skills in carpentry with experience in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking equipment, is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to projects.
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
