Painter cum Carpenter

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior painting works for residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primers.
• Mix and match paints, stains, and coatings to achieve required colors and finishes.
• Apply paint, varnish, enamel, and other protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Carry out carpentry works including installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and wooden fixtures.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Repair damaged furniture, wooden structures, partitions, and fittings.
• Install locks, handles, hinges, door closers, and other carpentry hardware.
• Conduct polishing, varnishing, and finishing works on furniture and wooden surfaces.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and client satisfaction.
• Identify maintenance requirements and report major defects to supervisors.
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of painting and carpentry tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE during work activities.
• Estimate material requirements and assist in preparing material requests.
• Handle painting touch-ups and corrective works as required.
• Support emergency maintenance and repair works when assigned.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians to complete projects within deadlines.
• Ensure efficient utilization of materials to minimize wastage.
• Assist in site inspections and condition assessments when required.
• Comply with Dubai Municipality regulations and company policies.
• Attend training sessions and toolbox talks conducted by the company.
• Maintain professional behavior and provide excellent customer service at client sites.
• Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by management.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
