Painter/Power Washer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Power Washer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and utilizing power washing techniques. This position provides the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to restoration, while honing your skills in construction painting, surface preparation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers using hand tools and power tools.
• Apply paints, stains, sealants, and coatings accurately using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other equipment.
• Operate power washers to clean building exteriors, sidewalks, decks, and other surfaces efficiently and safely
• Perform minor carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, fixture installation, caulking, and drywall repairs as needed.
• Assist with projects by performing deck refacing and construction assistance.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris; conduct routine maintenance on equipment like power washers and spray guns.

Requirements

• Prior experience in construction painting or commercial/residential painting projects is highly preferrered.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as scrapers, brushes, rollers, caulking guns, and power tools including airless sprayers.
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Ability to operate power washers safely while understanding environmental considerations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing ladders or scaffolding, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Additional skills such as restoration work, fixture installation, or framing carpentry are a plus.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
