Painting Foreman

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Painting Foreman. This role offers an opportunity to work locally as well as nationally. You will be a team leader, setting the tone every morning for your team. You will be customer facing and ensuring customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
  • Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools according to project specifications.
  • Pressure wash, vapor blast, pavement line striping and more.
  • Logging expenses, hours, photos, signatures and notes in Service Fusion and Company Cam.
  • Occassionally, read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine painting requirements and scope.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely completion of painting phases.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project to verify proper application and adherence to safety standards.
  • As needed, assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to surface preparation or paint application using tools like pressure washers, sprayers or other equipment.
  • Lead your team with a positive outlook and a Can-Do-Attitude daily.
  • Manage the jobs you are assigned to in an efficient and cohesive manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams on larger projects cordially and efficiently.

Experience

  • Proven experience in painting with an understanding of blueprint reading.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE (100% necessary)
  • budgeting and scheduling experience (preferred but not necessary)
  • Experience in managing a team while maintaining high standards of quality, and efficiency.

We expect some growing pains as you acclimate to our system but as long as you have a positive attitude and you reliably show up, complete projects and make customers happy, we are happy to help you through the blunders.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
