You will also take advantage of our growing secondary market in Cumberland County (the second fastest growing County in PA).
You will work to sell painting work to new customers and provide support to repeat customers with focus on residential, commercial and institutional (ie; places of worship) painting. You will provide honest assessments of our customers painting needs, want to grow and develop as a professional, and take on new responsibilities as the company continues to grow. You are right for this position if you are: self-motivated, thrive in fast-moving environments, manage time effectively and have proven communication skills.
Duties:
1. Demonstrates commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgment in business transactions.
2. Maintains proper lines of communication throughout the team.
3. Works collaboratively with Project Management, other Sales Staff, and the Office to garner their knowledge on completed projects in a productive manner.
4. Attends weekly Sales meeting, providing weekly sales activity report and communicates all positive and negative feedback.
5. Attends weekly Full Crew/Crew Leader Meetings and the Production Meeting.
6. Provides detailed and accurate project scope information to the Production Coordinator, Office Manager and Crew Leaders.
7. In conjunction with management, analyzes field productivity as compared to estimated productivity and adjusts accordingly.
8. Continually Improves industry knowledge, staying current with products and trends.
9. Interacts with Vendors.
10. Follows up with customers regarding payment of invoice when past due.
11. Attends referral groups and events to represent the company and build relationships.
Sales/Estimating:
1. Develops and maintains customer relationships, providing any needed support, with focus on residential, institutional and commercial painting customers.
2. Meets with customers to determine their needs and establish their budgets.
3. Retrieves pricing for specialty services, including materials, equipment, etc.
4. Ensures that proposal details are accurate, complete, and written well.
5. Prices new opportunities on the spot or at max within 48 hours of the onsite visit with prospect.
6. Maintains consistent follow up procedures on all open bids.
7. Meet sales revenue goals and sales rate goals on a monthly basis.
8. Generates change orders as needed. Communicate changes to office and crew in a timely fashion.
9. Provides references to existing customers of other competent contractors in different remodeling/construction fields.
Communication:
1. Coordinates with the team on projects to ensure all necessary info is communicated: color, scope of work, scheduling, etc.
2. Follows up on completed work to insure customer satisfaction.
3. Builds a personal networking and prospecting plan in order to build new relationships.
4. Becomes involved in 1 -2 organizations within the communities we work in, i.e. service clubs or referral groups.
Job Requirements:
Possess a valid state driver’s license and has a good driving record.
Sales and negotiating skills.
Strong personal character, integrity and a heart for teamwork and excellence.
Strong customer advocacy.
People skills essential: able to establish trust, confidence and relationships quickly through excellent writing, oral presentation skills, creativity and strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient with computers, MS Office software, Google Mail, and Estimating Software.
Can write clear and logical email communication to customers, employees, and vendors.
Estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing desirable; but not required.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a field environment with exposure to inclement weather and walk and work on uneven terrain.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Willing to work scheduled hours, which will include some early evenings and weekend appointments, especially from March to June.
Knowledge of paint industry and materials desired, but not required.

Salary: $43,000/year + 4% Commission.
End of Year Bonus Provided for Performance.
Estimated Compensation in First Year - $65,000 to $75,000, $95,000 Plus After
