Pallet Repairman

As a Pallet Repair Technician at CHEP, you will be responsible for inspecting pallets and ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards. This includes replacing any components that do not meet specifications with appropriate, high-quality parts. You will classify repaired pallets, as well as address any pallets that are dirty or wet by performing necessary cleaning or drying procedures. Each repaired pallet must be properly labeled with its corresponding barcode for inventory and tracking purposes. To maintain smooth repair line operations, you will actively monitor and prevent jams or blockages, ensuring continuous workflow. At the beginning of each workday, you are expected to review your job and inspect equipment, reporting any malfunctions or failures to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. This position requires attention to detail, efficient work habits, and adherence to safety protocols. Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred
