Pallet Tagger

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Pallet Tagger to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately labeling pallets to ensure seamless inventory management, efficient shipping, and effective stock control. Your proactive approach will help maintain organized storage areas, support inventory accuracy, and contribute to smooth warehouse operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES –

• Creates pallet tags by accurately scanning cases.
• Must verify information is correct.
• Correct Pool, Variety, Storage, Date, Run order must be entered
• Inspects each pallet to ensure product is not misplaced and pallet appearance is acceptable.
• Ensures customer specific palletization requirements are in place and accurate.
• Returns mislabeled or damaged boxes to stamper
• Informs stamper operator of issues
• Glue on bags
• Torn tape/ boxes
• Faded print
• Packed boxes riding too high
• Wrong lids
• Performs end of day reconciliation by counting and entering information for all partial pallets.
• Updates pallet storage location data files.
• Works with Segregators to optimize proper placement of product and spread the workload
• Works with Packed Inventory team to place pallets in assigned areas
• Works with shipping and production to provide accurate counts
• Must follow all Repack protocols as well
• Use all resources available to get job duties done correctly and in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all CG team members
• Send an end of shift report on pallet/ box/ stamper issues
• All other duties as assigned. Most common are the following:
• Segregator
• Forklift Driver
• Repack

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES – OTHER DUTIES

• Understands, follows and complies with company safety, food and sanitation policies.
• Conducts and documents inspections/recordkeeping as required by regulation and/or customer specified audit schemes.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Repetitious and/or prolonged lifting, walking, standing, and carrying.
• Works in a warehouse environment that is subject to temperature fluctuations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.08 - $19.67 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
