Part-Time Day Center Driver – Papa’s Place Adult Day Center

Papa’s Place Adult Day Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Driver to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring our members safely arrive at and return home from the day center, supporting their independence and access to care.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-time, Set days of Tuesday-Friday Average about 16 hours (mornings and afternoons)
• Location: Papa’s Place Adult Day Center, Big Rapids, MI
• Pay: $15.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Track milage used in log provided.
• Safely transport clients to and from the day center in company-provided or approved vehicles.
• Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, including those with mobility devices.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and keep vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Follow all traffic laws and company transportation policies.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and professional interactions with clients and families.
• Report any incidents, delays, or concerns to the Day Center Supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
• Comfortable assisting individuals with physical or cognitive challenges.
• Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or passenger transport preferred but not required.
