Paper Core Machine Operator

Set up and adjust paper core winding machines according to production requirements (diameter, wall thickness, length).

Operate winding, cutting, and trimming equipment.

Load paper rolls, adhesives, and other raw materials into the machine.

Monitor machine speed, tension control, and adhesive application.

Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.

Dentify operational issues such as misalignment, uneven winding, or glue malfunctions.

Replace cutting blades, adjust mandrels, and fix mechanical components as needed.

Assist maintenance technicians with major repairs when required.

Measure dimensions of finished paper cores (diameter, thickness, length).

Inspect for consistency, smooth edges, and uniform winding.

Record production data and report any deviations from specifications.

Maintain quality output in accordance with customer and company standards.

Follow all plant safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.

Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Work closely with supervisors, material handlers, and the quality team.

Report machine performance issues or material shortages promptly.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in blown film extrusion and plastic bag manufacturing.
