Paralegal – Defense Litigation – Long Island, NY

An established law office is seeking an experienced defense litigation paralegal for its Long Island, NY location. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience and be familiar with daily time entry billing requirements, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records.
• Strong knowledge of New York law.
• Ability to manage cases from initiation through resolution while meeting all court deadlines.
• Trial preparation experience preferred.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and experts using a team-oriented approach.
• Legal research skills (Lexis experience a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA-approved organization or a bachelor’s degree required.
