98 Ventures is a family of companies specializing in transportation, logistics, and related services nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team and support a wide variety of matters, including litigation, contracts, claims, compliance, and corporate governance.

What You’ll Do

As a Paralegal at 98 Ventures, you will play a key role in supporting the General Counsel and business teams by:

• Litigation & Disputes
  • Coordinating with outside counsel and insurance adjusters on active cases.
  • Reviewing petitions and assisting with insurance coverage analysis.
  • Supporting discovery, including gathering company records and assisting with deposition preparation.
  • Tracking case progress and maintaining litigation files.
• Contracts
  • Reviewing and preparing client and vendor contracts.
  • Organizing finalized agreements and supporting contract management.
• Claims
  • Attending weekly meetings with the Claims Lead to review escalated matters.
  • Assisting with responses to claim-related questions from clients and internal teams.
• Corporate Support
  • Assisting HR, Accounting, and Operations with ongoing projects such as record retention, entity setup, and business registration.
  • Reviewing and processing legal invoices for accuracy and coding.
  • Handling additional duties as necessary.

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 per year

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3–5 years of paralegal experience in litigation, corporate, or insurance-related work (in-house or law firm). Transportation and logistics industry experience is preferred.
• Education: Paralegal certification preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication, and ability to manage competing priorities and partner across multiple divisions/departments.
• Tools: Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with contract management systems is a bonus.
