Law firm representing clients for various violations of both state and federal consumer protection laws.

- Draft and finalize routine pleadings, motions, notices, and correspondence using firm templates (e.g., complaints, answers, discovery requests/responses, deficiency letters, settlement communications).
- Manage discovery end-to-end: prepare and track requests, organize production, summarize records, prepare exhibits, and maintain discovery logs.
- Collect, review, and organize client documents and records; prepare case chronologies, damages summaries, and evidentiary packets.
- Conduct legal and factual research as assigned and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Maintain the case management system with accurate deadlines, notes, tasks, and status updates.
- Coordinate service of process, e-filing, hearing/trial logistics, and document execution.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors within approved scope; escalate legal questions to attorneys.
- Support settlement administration, including drafting releases, tracking compliance, and closing files.
- Assist with trial/hearing prep: witness/exhibit lists, binders, subpoenas, and logistics.
Preferred legal experience, including, but not limited to:
- Experience with consumer-protection statutes (FDCPA, FCRA, FCCPA, TCPA, FCBA, related Florida claims).
- Paralegal certification (NALA, NFPA, or equivalent).
- Excellent deadline management and attention to detail.
- Bilingual (Spanish/Creole) a plus.
- Professional, empathetic client communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience filing in Florida state courts and federal court (CM/ECF).
- Solid understanding of Florida civil procedure and court filing/service requirements.
- Hands-on experience with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Filevine, Smokeball, PracticePanther, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
