Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support a diverse range of legal practices, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, and litigation. The Paralegal will be responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and ensuring efficient case management. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
- Assist in drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
- Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw
- Review and organize legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Support litigation processes including document review and trial preparation
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining case management systems
- Conduct client interviews and assist in preparing for depositions or hearings
- Proofread and transcribe legal documents with attention to detail
- Support attorneys with project management tasks across various practice areas including landlord-tenant law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and UCC law
- Maintain professional communication with clients via phone etiquette and email correspondence
- Assist with administrative support functions such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
Experience
- Prior paralegal experience in a law office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, litigation, patent law, and tribal regulations is advantageous
- Proficiency with legal case management software including Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, PCLaw, and document review platforms
- Strong research skills utilizing legal databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
- Experience in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and contract review
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Clerical experience including data entry, filing, document management systems usage, and administrative support functions
- Excellent written communication skills along with professional phone etiquette

Pay: $51,621.17 - $62,167.43 per year
