**Join our team as a Paralegal**

We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Modesto office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience as a paralegal in civil litigation, along with the following qualifications:

  • Complete understanding of civil procedures, with a strong emphasis on calendaring deadlines and court dates.
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to produce reliable, accurate, and timely work product; must be dependable and accountable in meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal technology, including court-filing computer systems and case management programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments efficiently.
  • Paralegal certificate and be in compliance with California Business Code Section 6450.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and paralegal support to one or more attorneys.
  • Fact gathering, drafting, and analyzing legal documents.
  • Participate in case planning, development and management
  • Prepare pleadings, including but not limited to complaints, discovery, etc.
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers, clients, vendors, etc.
  • Draft, format, edit and proofread legal documents with attention to detail.
  • Manage calendars with a strong understanding of court rules and procedures and handle document processing and filing (E-filing).
  • Prepare trial binders and provide assistance to the attorney during trials.
  • Maintain the efficiency of all office procedures and case management to ensure reliability and consistency.

Benefits:

  • Salary range: $62,500-$67,500
