Summary

Gough Legal Group seeks to add a legal assistant or paralegal to complement an expanding practice. Join a local, up-and-coming law firm devoted to guiding clients through complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will use experience, knowledge, and abilities to grow along with a forward-thinking, goal-oriented legal practice. This is intended to be a full-time, on-site position. Part-time is possible for the right candidate. Compensation will be proportionate to relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

· Communicate with clients, courts, outside counsel, and general public

· Conduct research and draft legal documents under attorney supervision

· Coordinate online and social media marketing campaigns

· Maintain attorney schedule

Skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft office and technology in general

· Ability to write and communicate with precision

· Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities

Qualifications

· Post-Secondary degree

· 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal and/or legal assistant

· General knowledge of business law, mergers and acquisitions, civil litigation, family law, and/or estate planning preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
