Paralegal

We are seeking a highly organized Paralegal to support our General Counsel and Associate General Counsel in a litigation-forward, fast-paced in-house legal environment. This role provides critical support across litigation management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract administration, and legal operations for a multi-entity enterprise.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple active legal matters simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and compliance with court deadlines and regulatory requirements. This role plays an important part in maintaining efficient legal operations and supporting the broader business.


Responsibilities


  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, legal correspondence, and other legal documents for attorney review
  • Manage litigation files, maintain case calendars, and track court deadlines and docket activity
  • Coordinate hearings, depositions, court filings, and interactions with outside counsel and legal vendors
  • Prepare trial notebooks, hearing binders, exhibits, and witness documentation
  • File documents through Texas e-filing systems and track service and compliance requirements
  • Maintain corporate records, entity documentation, board resolutions, and compliance filings
  • Assist with regulatory responses, internal audits, and compliance documentation
  • Draft and support commercial agreements including service agreements, dealer agreements, MSAs, and settlements
  • Maintain contract repository and track agreement lifecycle milestones, renewals, and terminations
  • Support legal operations through matter tracking, document management, billing coordination, and reporting


Qualifications


  • 3–5+ years of litigation or in-house legal support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation processes
  • Experience with Texas court e-filing systems and docket management
  • Strong legal drafting, proofreading, and document management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training preferred
