Kentucky ElderLaw is a life care planning and estate planning firm. We help people navigate their long-term care options and access help to pay for that care if available. We also prepare estate plans, to include wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team supporting attorneys in preparing trusts, asset protection plans, and other legal documents. Experience in estate planning is not necessary. Very strong writing and proofreading skills are essential.

Duties

• Prepare trusts and attendant documents
• Prepare asset protection plans
• Perform legal research
• Assist in managing caseloads
• Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards
• Support estate planning and elder law processes by organizing files and meeting deadlines for client meetings
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records to facilitate smooth office operations
• Conduct interviews with clients when necessary to gather pertinent information for cases
• Provide support for legal assistants and reception
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
