We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, ensuring efficient case management, thorough legal research, and precise document preparation. <Responsibilities>

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and immigration law.
  • Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Perform document review and data entry tasks with accuracy; support the filing process both electronically and physically in accordance with court rules.
  • Coordinate client interviews and witness interviews; assist in gathering pertinent information for cases.
  • Support litigation activities by preparing exhibits, compiling discovery documents, and maintaining detailed logs of case activities.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, handling phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, and performing general clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations.

<Requirements>

  • Proven paralegal experience or relevant legal administrative experience in a fast-paced law office environment.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review processes.
  • Experience working across various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law or immigration law is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and synthesize findings clearly for attorneys’ review.
  • Familiarity with document management systems like iManage or similar platforms; data entry skills are essential.
