We are seeking an ambitious and self-driven Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. As a qualified legal professional, you will assist attorneys by scheduling client appointments, conducting legal research, drafting documents, managing case files, and preparing for trials. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across various practice areas, including probate administration, probate litigation, estate planning, guardianships/conservatorships and civil litigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills while contributing to impactful legal work in a small niche law firm environment.

<Duties>

  • Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development and strategy.
  • Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage and organize case files using in-office document management systems.
  • Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Support litigation processes through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining case calendars.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather relevant information for case preparation.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing phone etiquette, proofreading documents, transcribing recordings, and performing clerical tasks to keep the legal team organized and efficient.
  • Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases.

<Requirements>

  • Ambitious, self-driven demeanor, with a strong desire to assist clients and build the law firm.
  • Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence.
  • Attention to detail for proofreading and reviewing complex legal materials accurately.
  • Organizational skills capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills complemented by professional phone etiquette and clerical competence in data entry and filing procedures.

Pay: $60,320.00 - $72,800.00 per year
