<Job Summary>
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. <Duties>

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Support attorneys with project management tasks related to litigation, land use projects, or regulatory compliance by tracking deadlines and coordinating meetings.
  • Perform detailed document review and data entry for case files while maintaining accuracy in all clerical activities including filing, transcription, and data management.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as part of case development efforts while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys when needed.

<Skills>

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role with familiarity in diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, family law, securities law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and litigation.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to gather relevant case law and legal precedents efficiently.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents with clarity; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software such as iManage or PCLaw; experience with document review systems is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills; project management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with legal document review processes and contract management systems; attention to detail is critical.
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing clients or witnesses; professional phone etiquette is required.
  • Knowledge of various practice areas including land use regulations, securities law, tribal regulations, patent law, workers’ compensation claims, personal injury cases, family disputes, landlord-tenant issues, immigration procedures or environmental compliance.
  • Strong clerical experience including filing systems and administrative support functions within a busy law office environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,160.58 - $64,021.34 per year
