Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills

Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools across diverse practice areas such as patent law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, and landlord-tenant law.
- Manage legal documents through document review, drafting contracts, and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Organize and maintain case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; perform data entry and filing to support efficient case tracking.
- Support litigation processes by preparing pleadings, discovery documents, and trial exhibits; coordinate document review sessions and assist with trial preparation.
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information to assist attorneys in case development; support client communication with professional phone etiquette.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys.
- Conduct research on complex legal issues related to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, securities law, patent law, and other specialized fields to inform case strategies.
Requirements
- Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a busy law office setting.
- Strong knowledge of various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, and immigration law.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; capable of proofreading and transcription with precision.
- Experience with legal case management software and data entry systems; ability to handle filing and document management efficiently.
- Effective interviewing skills for gathering information from clients or witnesses; professional phone etiquette for client interactions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
