We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. <Responsibilities>
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and tribal law & regulations.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Manage and organize case files utilizing document management systems like iManage and PCLaw for efficient retrieval and storage of legal records.
- Perform document review and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy in legal case management systems.
- Assist attorneys with project management tasks related to litigation, immigration law cases, personal injury claims, workers' compensation cases, and patent law filings.
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases.
- Support administrative functions including filing, scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support when needed.
<Experience>
- Previous paralegal experience in a law office setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis platforms.
- Strong knowledge of various practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, patent law, and tribal regulations.
- Familiarity with legal case management software including iManage and PCLaw.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proven writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.
- Experience in conducting interviews and performing document review with accuracy.
