Role Description
We are seeking an experienced UK Immigration / Litigation / Family Paralegal to join our busy and growing practice, working from our designated office location in Pakistan. This role is ideally suited to individuals who have completed a UK legal qualification and have prior experience working within a UK law firm.
The successful candidate will manage an independent caseload across UK Immigration, Nationality, Asylum, and Human Rights law, supporting our UK-based operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of UK immigration law, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced and high-volume caseload with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities for Immigration Paralegal:
- Handle and oversee individual caseloads in Immigration, Nationality, Asylum, and Human Rights law.
- Manage Business Immigration and Sponsor Licence applications, including Judicial Review challenges.
- Process family-based Immigration matters such as Entry Clearance applications.
- Undertake Administrative Reviews and Judicial Review applications.
- Represent clients in Statutory Appeals before both the First-tier and Upper Tribunal levels.
- Submit Fresh Claims and Human Rights claims, as well as applications for regularisation.
- Assist clients with Nationality applications, including both registration and naturalisation.
- Manage cases related to the deprivation of British citizenship.
- Maintain high standards of client care by providing regular updates and clear communication.
- Handle administrative tasks associated with maintaining and managing a caseload.
Key Responsibilities for Litigation Paralegal:
- Conducting comprehensive case reviews and managing litigation procedures.
- Issuing Court Action and taking necessary steps, including judgment enforcement.
- Preparing and drafting court documents, including Reply to Defences, Witness Statements, Disclosures, Set Aside Hearings, and Court Bundles.
- Handling a varied caseload of small claims, fast/intermediate track, and multi-track claims.
- Representing clients in Mediations and Summary Judgment applications.
- Managing Statutory Demands and Winding Up Petitions.
- Negotiating settlements and engaging in dispute resolution.
- Providing guidance and training to Junior staff and Legal Administrative Staff.
- Conducting legal research and ensuring compliance with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Utilizing case management systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities for Family Paralegal:
- Handle and oversee individual caseloads in Family Law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children proceedings.
- Manage Divorce and Civil Partnership Dissolution applications, including online filings and progression through the court process.
- Assist with Financial Remedy proceedings, including preparation of Form E, financial disclosure, and drafting supporting documentation.
- Prepare and draft court documents, including Petitions, Applications, Witness Statements, Consent Orders, and Position Statements.
- Support cases involving child arrangements, including Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, and Specific Issue Orders.
- Assist in matters involving domestic abuse, including applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
- Handle Legal Aid applications and compliance requirements where applicable.
- Liaise with clients, Counsel, courts, CAFCASS, and third parties, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
- Prepare court bundles and assist in hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with SRA and firm compliance requirements.
- Provide regular case updates and maintain a high standard of client care and confidentiality.
- Undertake legal research and ensure compliance with Family Procedure Rules (FPR) and relevant practice directions.
- Utilise case management systems effectively to manage deadlines, filings, and documentation.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in UK Immigration/Litigation/Family Law.
- UK legal qualification (e.g. LLB, LPC, SQE, BPTC or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a UK law firm (essential).
- Strong working knowledge of UKVI processes and Home Office procedures.
- Proven ability to manage a full and varied caseload independently.
- Experience in General / Business Immigration, Family Immigration, Human Rights, and Appeals, Litigation, Family .
- Excellent drafting, legal writing, and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
