Overview
We are seeking a paralegal with multitasking abilities sufficient to assist in sustaining a growing personal injury practice. Pay will be commensurate with experience and will scale upward with the growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage case files using document management systems including Clio and OneDrive; ensure all records are organized, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Communicate with clients, law offices, police departments, and doctor's offices.
- Submitting and following up on HIPAA requests for medical records and bills.
- Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling interviews or client meetings, and tracking case progress.
- Perform data entry and filing duties while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to firm policies.
- Provide administrative support including phone etiquette, organizational assistance, transcription services, and clerical tasks to facilitate efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with a background in personal injury preferred but not necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, transcription, and managing document systems effectively.
- Proficient communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities are required.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
