Bailey Glasser LLP, a national law firm engaged in cutting-edge litigation, seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented general litigation Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys in various litigation matters, ensuring the efficient management of cases from inception through resolution. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:
- A minimum 10 years paralegal experience.
- Must have experience seeing cases from inception through resolution.
- This is a fully in-person position and individuals must be committed to reporting to the office five days a week.
Duties
- Assist attorneys in the preparation and organization of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
- Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records within document management systems, ensuring compliance with all legal standards.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings, while providing executive administrative support as needed.
- Review and summarize documents for relevance and importance in litigation cases.
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence and witness lists.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Perform data entry, document review, transcription, and proofreading tasks to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.
Skills
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation processes.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Familiarity with document and case management systems.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and correspondence.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong clerical experience with proficiency in filing in both state and federal courts.
