Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development across multiple practice areas such as tribal law, patent law, workers' compensation law, and landlord-tenant law
- Assist in drafting legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Manage legal case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure accurate and organized recordkeeping
- Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Support attorneys with client interviews by preparing questionnaires and summarizing interview notes to facilitate case strategy
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining schedules for court deadlines
- Coordinate project management activities related to ongoing cases or legal initiatives to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence with professionalism and courtesy
- Conduct thorough document review for litigation cases or transactional matters to identify relevant information efficiently
Experience
- Paralegal experience in a law office or legal environment is required; familiarity with multiple practice areas such as estate planning and family law is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes including document review, case management software (iManage), legal research platforms (Westlaw & LexisNexis), and contract drafting tools
- Proven ability to handle complex research projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and collaborating with attorneys and staff
- Proficiency in legal writing, proofreading, transcription, and document management systems is essential
- Experience supporting litigation or transactional work will be considered an asset
- Demonstrated professionalism with strong phone etiquette and organizational skills to maintain smooth office operations
