We are a small, client-focused Estate Planning & Elder Law firm looking for a detail-oriented, warm, and highly organized Paralegal / Administrative Assistant to join our office.

This role supports families during important life events and requires strong writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and professional with clients who may be stressed. No prior legal experience is required—we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

Client Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients
  • Communicate by phone and email with empathy and professionalism
  • Manage scheduling, reminders, follow-ups, and client intake

Document Preparation

  • Draft wills, powers of attorney, and trust documents using templates
  • Prepare client signing packets and organize documents
  • Maintain accuracy with names, dates, and legal details

Office Administration

  • Manage calendars, mail, scanning, email, and digital filing
  • Maintain CRM records and update client tasks
  • Coordinate with financial advisors, CPAs, and care facilities

Case Assistance

  • Assist with probate and elder law forms
  • Gather client information and track deadlines
  • Take notes during meetings and summarize key details

Backgrounds that often succeed: office administration, customer service, healthcare admin, social work, education, and writing-heavy roles.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer skills (email, PDF, digital filing)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Reliable, positive, and detail-oriented

Legal experience or paralegal training is helpful but not required.

Pay & Benefits

  • $24–$29 per hour, depending on experience
  • $500 retention bonus at 90 days
  • 1 remote day per week after training

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • No nights, weekends, or on-call work
