Candidates must have at least 2 years' experience working in a Nevada law firm; preferably but not required in Family Law.

Position Summary:
The Legal team member provides essential administrative and case support to attorneys. Responsibilities include scheduling, filing, drafting simple documents, client communication, and maintaining organized case files. Legal Assistants follow the firm’s structured 90-day onboarding plan, including weekly billable requirements and progressive independence expectations along with the practicing the firm core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Case Support:
- Schedule all hearings, deadlines, attorney meetings, client consultations, and internal reminders.
- Perform CMS data entry, document saving, and file organization.
- Conduct routine file reviews for accuracy and completeness.
- Draft pleadings (notices, captions, certificates of service), letters, emails, and correspondence. Paralegals will draft more complex documents including motions.
- Prepare routine case materials for attorney review.
Court Filing & Document Handling:
- Perform all e-filings promptly and accurately.
- Save filings, service documents, and confirmations in CMS with correct naming conventions.
- Maintain accurate calendar management and case timelines.
Billable Time & Documentation:
- Meet weekly billable hour expectations
- Document ALL billable and unbillable time daily.
- Support attorney billing accuracy through case balance reviews and timely task completion.
Client Communication:
- Answer all incoming client and case-related calls with professionalism.
- Relay messages, schedule appointments, and assist clients with routine questions.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect client trust in all interactions.
Team Collaboration:
- Support attorneys and paralegals with drafting, filing, and case tasks.
- Participate in training, process improvements, and team initiatives.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Qualifications:
- Prior legal support or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Experience with CMS systems preferred (training provided).
- Must work onsite full-time during onboarding.
Must have reliable transportation. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Salary excludes annual bonuses.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
