Position Overview

Join our dynamic legal team as a Paralegal, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will play a vital role in supporting diverse legal practices. You will be instrumental in managing case files, conducting legal research, and providing essential administrative support to attorneys and clients alike. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and filing schedules with precision
  • Assist with legal case management by organizing and maintaining files using document management systems
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and contracts with strong attention to detail
  • Conduct thorough legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support ongoing cases across various practice areas
  • Support attorneys with document review, transcription, proofreading, and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and maintaining organized filing systems
  • Assist in client intake and interviews; gather relevant information to facilitate case development
  • Support litigation efforts by preparing case summaries, tracking deadlines, and managing document review processes efficiently
  • File documents with state and federal courts, both electronically and in person (PACFile, PACER, eCourts)
  • Assist with real estate transactions including due diligence, title review, and closing coordination
  • Support billing and time entry processes; prepare invoices and track outstanding matters
  • Utilize and help optimize online platforms, practice management software, and firm technology tools

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of paralegal or legal administrative experience within a law firm setting
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; paralegal certificate a plus
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to perform detailed legal research and synthesize findings into clear summaries or reports
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly professional demeanor

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Westlaw and/or LexisNexis; experience with iManage or PCLaw is a strong plus
  • Experience with case management or practice management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Pennsylvania state and federal court filing systems (PACFile, PACER, eCourts)
  • Background in real estate, litigation, estate planning, land use, or related practice areas
  • Knowledge of project management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently in a busy law office
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and a willingness to learn new platforms and tools
  • Eagerness to grow and take on increasing responsibility as the firm expands
