Paralegal – Business & Corporate Law (In-Office)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Business & Corporate Law to join our legal team in an in-office capacity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support complex legal matters, manage diverse projects, and contribute to the efficient operation of our law office. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, legal drafting, and document management skills, along with a proactive attitude and excellent organizational abilities. As a vital member of our team, you will assist attorneys with a wide range of corporate legal tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all assignments.

Duties

  • Draft, format, and revise legal documents and correspondence
  • Assist with entity formations and corporate maintenance
  • Prepare and organize client files and legal binders
  • Manage deadlines, calendars, and task tracking
  • Communicate with clients, agencies, and third parties
  • Maintain document management systems and records
  • Provide general administrative and legal support
  • legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools.
  • Assist with due diligence processes related to mergers, acquisitions, estate planning, and other corporate transactions by reviewing relevant documentation.
  • Support attorneys in project management activities by tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, and maintaining schedules for litigation or transactional matters.
  • Perform document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy before submission or filing; transcribe legal dictations as needed.
  • Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support to legal teams.

Requirements

  • Prior paralegal experience preferred (business/corporate law a plus)
  • Strong organizational and proofreading skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PDF tools, and basic office technology
  • Professional demeanor and reliability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $58,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
