Paralegal Discovery Manager

Our law firm is currently seeking a Discovery Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the Discovery Clerks responding to discovery propounded on our personal injury clients. Our work environment is fun and casual. No micromanagement but employees are expected to meet strict deadlines and work as a team. Only experienced candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Discovery employees, oversee their work, and manage deadlines.
• Obtain medical records and other personal injury related documents and answer discovery questions based on those medical records
• Meet with clients, both in person and over the phone, and interview them to respond to the propounded discovery
• Prepare discovery into proper legal pleading format for review and signature by attorneys
• Serve timely responses to defense counsel

Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience required

• College degree preferred, but not required
• Paralegal certificate required
• Spanish / Vietnamese speaking a huge plus
• Work well with others
• Willing to be part of a discovery team
• Ability to successfully multitask and work in a deadline-based environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
