A well-established law firm in Lebanon, PA, is seeking an experienced, highly accountable, and detail-oriented Paralegal to support its growing estate administration and estate planning practices. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of directly relevant experience, will be able to take the lead on estate matters, and will be able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with attorneys and clients. The Paralegal will manage key aspects of estate administration and planning, gather and organize information, communicate with clients and institutions, and ensure all deadlines are met.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer decedent’s estates in accordance with Pennsylvania law, taking lead responsibility for case progress and task management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client and institutional inquiries related to estate administration.
- Under attorney supervision, value assets, prepare accountings for trust and estate administration, and manage tax returns and accountings
- Prepare and deliver communications to clients, administrators, beneficiaries, and interested parties.
- Create, organize, and maintain forms, client materials, deadlines, and attorney work products using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Prepare and submit estate administration documents and probate court filings.
- Coordinate asset inventories and valuations for estates.
- Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents including wills, powers of attorney, and trusts.
- Coordinate with clients throughout all phases of the estate planning process, from initial drafting through review and signing.
- Provide support to attorneys on estate planning and administration matters.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)
- 2+ years of direct experience in estate administration and estate planning, including managing files, communicating with clients, and coordinating required filings.
- 3+ years of overall office experience.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with professionals and clients at all levels.
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a high level of professional judgment.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client support and exceptional work.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and estate administration, accounting, and tax preparation software.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a paralegal at a law firm.
- Experience managing estate files from opening through closing.
- Active Notary Public commission in Pennsylvania.
