Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, family law, and litigation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal support. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by conducting research, drafting documents, and managing case files.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research using research tools
  • Draft and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions
  • Assist in the preparation of cases for trial by organizing exhibits and evidence
  • Manage case files using document management systems like iManage or PCLaw
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of case activities
  • Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information for cases
  • Provide executive administrative support to attorneys as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in areas such as immigration law, environmental law, and tribal law
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel while maintaining professionalism in all communications

Experience

  • Previous paralegal experience is required in family, criminal and/or estate planning; familiarity with other various areas of law such as, landlord-tenant law, , workers' compensation law, patent law, and UCC law is highly desirable
  • Strong legal administrative experience with an emphasis on litigation support
  • Proficiency in legal drafting, document review, transcription, and clerical tasks
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents
  • Demonstrated project management abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for client interactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
