Family Law Paralegal, Red Bank, NJ
Wilentz is currently seeking for a full-time position, an experienced, detail-oriented and compassionate Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of family law matters in our Red Bank and Woodbridge offices. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, communication and writing skills and be able to work with clients in a challenging legal environment.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Preparing the following legal documents:
- Complaints, motions, certifications, Case Information Statements, Orders and Judgments, settlement agreements, Child Support Guidelines
Additional Duties:
· Propounding and answering Interrogatories and Notices to Produce, assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Qualifications:
· Paralegal certificate and a bachelor’s degree
· A minimum of 5+ years’ law firm experience as a family law paralegal
· Knowledge of state family law procedures and court rules
· Strong writing and proofreading skills
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· Proficiency in using computers for legal research and tasks, including Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software-- iManage A+
· Ability to work onsite full time; Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (35-hour work week);
